Overview

PSBL (Passive Spam Block List) describes themselves as an easy-on, easy-off blocklist that reduces false positives because any user can remove their ISP's mail server from the list.

How it works

PSBL lists IPs based on the following reasons:

  • If an IP address delivers email to one of the spam trap addresses that feed PSBL it will be listed

Remediation

Automatic expiry is the normal way for IP addresses to get removed from the list. Manual removal is fast and easy with more information available on their website: https://psbl.org/
